Hi, I’m Vanessa — photographer, storyteller, professional hype woman, and the creative heart behind the lens. I help entrepreneurs, creators, and families capture images that actually feel like them — intentional, natural, and full of personality. Think artistry meets real connection… not awkward school-picture-day energy.
My love for photography started at fifteen when my dad handed me his Canon 35mm film camera — and that was it, I was done for. I fell hard. Black-and-white film, darkroom magic, watching images come to life like some kind of creative science experiment? Obsessed. That passion took me to study photography in college, and years later I’m still that same girl at heart — curious, inspired, and a tiny bit giddy every time I create something meaningful with someone.
But here’s the deeper part of my story. I’m a two-time preeclampsia survivor and a preemie mama, and those experiences changed me in the best and biggest ways. Giving back isn’t a “nice extra” in my life — it’s part of who I am. I volunteer, donate sessions, and send #MeetEdwardBear to NICU families who need a little light in a heavy season. Supporting people — through my work and my heart — is woven into everything I do.
Today, my work goes way beyond just taking pretty photos (though yes, we absolutely do that too). I help clients show up visually — as their brand, their personality, their story. I guide you, collaborate with you, and bring your vision to life with clarity, creativity, and intention.
